What are Koinonia Groups?  Koinonia Groups are groups of students who meet in the house of a sponsor, and talk about issues facing teens today.  Koinonia groups combine life strengthing friendships, with a small group discipling process to help students live life together.  Currently our Koinonia Groups are seperated by gender.  What this means is the guys meet together with a male adult to talk about guy issues, and the girls meet together with a female adult to talk about girl issues.

Our girls Koinonia Group is going through Every Young Woman's Battle: Guarding Your Mind, Heart, and Body in a Sex-Saturated World.  This book is nice for girls because it talks about how sexual temptation for them begins in their hunger for attention from guys, and ways to help fill that hunger with their faith in God.

Our Koinonia Groups are led by terrific Sponsors who love Jesus, and students.  They do a great job of helping students understand what they're going through is part of life, and have a lot of wisdom to share.  For more information on Koinonia Groups call Dallas Henry at 344-7188, or email him at dallas@castlehillschristianchurch.com.
